August Downtown Prayer Walk
Let us continue to join hands as a Body of Christ to pray for our coworkers, for downtown, and for the city as a whole! Be part of the Downtown Prayer Walk this Thursday August 5th from 12:10pm-12:55pm.
We'll meet together from 12 noon to 12:10 at two gathering points (you can choose the location nearest you):
- the Civic Center in front of the fountain
- the courtyard on India St. in front of the Torrey Pines Bank Building
We'll prayer walk in pairs around these two districts from 12:10-12:55.
Prayer Walking involves 3 elements:
Stop - Stop what we're doing in our busy lives and come together as a downtown Body to prayer walk in pairs and threes
Look - Take time to look around us with eyes of faith as we prayer walk downtown. See, hear, touch, smell, taste, and engage in this city where HE has sovereignly placed us
Listen - Listen to what God is saying in our hearts about this city (and the people in this city) as we walk, and pray as His Spirit leads us to pray. Embrace the vision and burdens HE is putting in our heart as we walk and pray together
If you are able, please join us for this time of prayer for our city during these uncertain times, for His Gospel message to continue being proclaimed and lived out in our downtown districts, and for God's healing and redemptive hand to continue moving throughout our city and beyond.
